Neck Skin Tags And Getting Rid Of Them

If you’ve been visiting my blog for some time now you’ll know that I really LOVE talking about getting rid of skin and body care. I look to every corner of the globe for information about it so that I can share the best of the best with you.

On one of my most recent “searches” I found this great article and thought I better share it with you all.

Don’t forget to check out the info here on getting rid of skin tags on a body.

There is nothing more embarrassing than standing in a group chatting with people when you know you have a huge skin tag on your face or neck. It’s just so obvious, and it surely feels that everyone in the world is doing nothing but staring right at it. So how do you get rid of a skin tag on your neck?

Well first and foremost, the most obvious answer is to see your doctor who will then refer you to the dermatologist where you can have the offending tag removed in a jiffy. But some people really like to avoid visiting the doctor at all costs, especially for something very superficial such as this, and these people would like to know if there are any home remedies available.

The good news is there are several methods you can try on your own. Now, some of these methods do work very well and some may not, but they are not harmful so you can feel free to give them a try.

One thing you can try is to freeze the tag off. At your neighborhood drugstore you can most likely pick up a small kit which is used for freezing moles off. Now, these home kits are not nearly as strong as what your dermatologist would be using, but nonetheless it may work if you have a pretty small tag you are trying to remove from your neck. It’s certainly worth a try.

If that doesn’t seem feasible to you, or if you have a hard time finding the kit, you can choose to simply cut the tag off. Use a clean sterilized pair of nail clippers and have a bandage ready in case of bleeding. You’ll want to put a little antibiotic ointment on it as well to keep an infection from occurring.

If none of these methods work to get rid of the skin tag on your neck, you may have to just go ahead and make an appointment with your doctor. It is a hassle, but might be worthwhile in order to get rid of these aggravating things.
