How To Keep Your Skin Beautiful

To hear the beauty industry tell it, having beautiful, flawless skin is an expensive and time-consuming endeavor.

It’s true that you can spend as many dollars as you can afford on your skin and spend hours and hours of time in the pursuit of a flawless complexion.

It is also true that you don’t have to do either.

Here are five easy and inexpensive steps to beautiful skin:

Step 1: Know your skin type. There are basically three skin types — dry, oily, and combination.

Determining which skin type you have isn’t rocket science, and you don’t really need an expert to tell you if your skin is dry, if your skin is oily, or if you have both dry and oily areas of skin on your face.

Knowing what skin type you have will tell you what kind of skin care products that you should purchase.

Step 2: Wash your hands thoroughly before you clean your face. Germs from your hands can be easily transferred to your face. It’s amazing how often people don’t think to wash their hands before they start their facial cleansing.

Step 3: According to your skin type, clean your face twice a day (morning and evening) with a facial cleanser that is right for you.

If you have very, very oily skin, you may need to clean your face three times a day. Don’t “scrub” your skin.

Use your fingers to wash, and don’t apply a lot of pressure. Use a gentle, circular motion and then rinse your face and PAT it dry…don’t rub your face!

Step 4: Use tepid water to clean your face. Hot water isn’t going to make your face any cleaner than warm water, and hot water tends to dry the skin. (You can use hot water at night just to open the pores though as described in the previous article. ) Cold water doesn’t clean as completely as warm water.

Step 5: Apply moisturizer each and every time you wash your face. Don’t skip a time, and be generous with the amount of moisturizer that you apply. There you have it.

Natural Acne Treatment Includes Daily Regimen

A Simple, Yet Effective, Method for Acne Treatment

Acne can be a troublesome and irritating condition, effecting millions of people worldwide for a variety of different reasons. There is a multitude of products available via both prescription and over the counter which can offer supposedly wondrous remedies to even the most severe acne conditions, but their efficacy is at best variable.

An acne sufferer could, in theory, spend an awful lot of money on products and effectively what are snake oil remedies, yet they will be no closer to actually solving the problem of acne.

There are, thankfully, some skin care routines actually have been proved to be effective by clinical studies. As with almost anything medicinal, the results vary dependent on the person, but the majority of treatments that have some kind of clinical basis actually advocate less expensive methods of acne prevention and cure.

One of the most recognized treatments is a simple three-step method, which involves cleansing, the application of a chemical product and then good moisturising. All of these products can be found cheaply, and what’s more, they have a good level of efficiency on most acne cases.

Using such a skin care regime is also useful for acne sufferers who are unwilling, or at least doubtful, about using antibiotic drugs to fight acne. It is far preferable to avoid antibiotics for non life-threatening conditions, so a skin care regime that has a similar level of efficacy as antibiotics should ideally be considered by all.

1. The first suggestion on this three-step regime is to use a light, gentle cleanser on all skin that is prone to acne (even if there is no acne in the area at present). The purpose of this cleanser should be to remove surface oils and nothing more; don’t select a product that claims to have acne-fighting properties for itself, that stage is dealt with on the next level.

2. The primary treatment is in the second stage, and involves the application of the chemical benzoyl peroxide at a strength of 2.5%. Benzoyl peroxide oxygenates skin, and acne cannot form on skin treated with this method. A cream or lotion containing 2.5% of the active ingredient, benzoyl peroxide, can be bought at most pharmacies – simply check labels.

3. The third step is a finishing act, and should involve use of a good quality moisturizer which is applied when the benzoyl peroxide has been absorbed. This helps lessen the effects of a chemical irritation on the skin. Benzoyl peroxide is known to make skin flaky and dry in some cases, and the use of a proper moisturizer will counter this effect.

These three steps, used together for a concentrated period of time, have an extremely high chance of succeeding in ridding you of your acne once and for all. Remember that you need to be consistently applying these steps.

We all have a daily skin care routine.  This skin care routine is all part of our beauty care. A great product to add to your daily regimen for acne is Acnezine Treatment.

Beautiful Hands In 3 Simple Steps

Bring Out The Beauty In Your hands – Skin Care Tips

Many women pay close attention to the small lines, creases, wrinkles, and spots that show up on our faces but tend to ignore the signs of aging that are creating road maps on the backs of our hands.

It does little good to spend a small fortune on products designed to hide your age in your face if you are going to announce your age loud and clear the moment you reach out to shake hands with someone new.

Hands are also important when it comes to beauty. Skin care for hands can restore their youth and beauty and help you give away nothing about your true age.

Just as you can turn back the clock on age when it comes to your face, you can turn back time on your hands as well. Most of us aren’t really interested in turning back time quite the way that Cher managed to do it, but looking younger, when done properly is a great thing whether it is your hands, your face, or every inch of skin you call your own.

The last though is preferable. More detailed strategies are discussed in Anti Wrinkle Handbook.

Anti Aging Tips for Hands

Moisturize.

This needs to be shouted from the roof tops. Moisture makes and breaks great hands. Hands that do not have enough moisturizing will look old before their time. Keep them hydrated and be careful to limit their exposure to products that will rob them of moisture. (Keep yourself hydrated inside too . . .)

Shea butter, coconut oil, and products that contain glycerin are excellent choices for helping hands retain that essential moisture. If you have products that work wonders for your face when it comes to moisture, try that out on your hands as well.

Most of the time though you will find that a thicker product works better for the hands. One cheap solution that lends very positive results for softening and repairing hands is Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.

It doesn’t feel very good on the hands but it works true miracles that are well worth a little bit of discomfort along the way. It is much less painful than plucking eye brows at the very least.

Block.

The sun causes untold amounts of damage to the skin and the hands are often, unconsciously, left unprotected while we go to great lengths to ensure that other areas of our bodies are well protected from the suns harmful rays.

Using a high value SPF sun block on your hands year round is a great way to avoid potential damage from the sun. Also using gloves to protect them from the sun’s rays in winter will provide additional protection.

The key is to expose your hands to the sun and the weather as rarely as possible in order to enjoy the greatest results.

Erase.

Once the damage is done there is one thing left to do. Erase it.

There are plenty of bleaching products that will remove those age spots. Some are only available by prescriptions and others require some type of surgical or professional application in order to remove them.

In the end, hand beauty, skin care, and anti aging endeavors are worth every ounce of effort if you are truly interested in turning back the hands of time.
